2. Website provision and hosting

Our website is provided through Firebase Hosting, a Google service. The provider in the European region is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When you visit our website, technically necessary data is processed. In particular, this includes your IP address, which is required to deliver the requested content. Depending on the processing involved, information about your request, such as the time, requested resource, and technical browser or device information, may also be processed.

This processing serves to reliably deliver the website, maintain security, and detect misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to provide a secure and functioning website. According to Google, Firebase Hosting retains IP address data for a period of several months.

Google companies or subcontractors may be involved in providing the service. Processing in countries outside the EU or EEA cannot be ruled out. Google provides for appropriate safeguards for relevant data transfers, in particular adequacy decisions or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. 3. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, we process the information you provide (in particular your email address, message and any other information you voluntarily submit) to handle and respond to your enquiry. We use OVHcloud (OVH SAS, 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France) to provide our business email account.

Processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR where your enquiry concerns initiating or performing a contract, and otherwise on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in communicating and responding to enquiries. Where statutory retention obligations apply, further storage is based on Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR. We retain correspondence only for as long as necessary to deal with the enquiry, for any resulting business relationship, or to comply with legal retention obligations.

4. Cookies, analytics and external content

In the version described here, our website does not use analytics or marketing services, tracking cookies, or a contact form. Fonts, images and scripts are part of the website and are not loaded from external font or media platforms. Contact links simply open your own email application.

5. Your data protection rights

Subject to applicable legal conditions, you have the right to access your data (Article 15 GDPR), rectification (Article 16 GDPR), erasure (Article 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR), and data portability (Article 20 GDPR). You may object to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR under Article 21 GDPR. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent with effect for the future. 6. Right to lodge a complaint

You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes data protection law (Article 77 GDPR).
